Mileposts:
Milepost 5, Seward Highway, at Lost Lake subdivision: Go up gravel
road and follow signs to parking. Trail is closed to saddle/packstock
April 1-June 30, and closed to snowmachines May 1 - November 30. Snow
at higher elevations (above milepost 4) into late June to first of
July. Take the trail north to Primrose.
Milepost 6.3, Stoney Creek Road and the entrance to Questa Woods
Estates. This is where Bell in the Woods is located. (From Stoney
Creek Road, turn right onto Bruno Road.) Directly across the street
from us is Glacier Creek, which runs into Salmon Creek. Ski along this
for miles, or take it south to access the road to Lost Lake. (See map
below.)
Mile 12 Seward Highway: Popular ski area with parking.
Mile 17.3 of Seward Highway: Junction with Primrose Road and
trails. Approximately 2 miles into Primrose State Campground. Take the
trail south to Lost Lake. Primrose is a historic gold mining area.
There are still active claims in the area. The beautiful
boomarang-shaped Kenai Lake begins at the mouth of Snow river.

We are located at the RED
DOT. The RED LINE is the
entrance to the Lost Lake trail, just off the Seward Highway at
Milepost 5. Snowmachines can travel the BLUE LINE (Salmon Creek)
from Bell in the
Woods to the road to Lost Lake. For the

Trail system, click here.
